The first social of the club calendar was held on Sunday 5th September. 14 members gave in their fathers day sleep in to brave howling winds for a morning fishing the Cooks river. Only a couple of fish were caught and all boats gave up their fight with the elements by 10:30 - to begin a fight with the wind to cook a BBQ!! Hoping the family picnic's weather on 26th September is a little more favour some!! The next members meeting will be held at 7pm on Wednesday 6th October 2010. at Kingswood Sports Club.
